Wipe away the tears, smile,
hide inside for a wile.

Never let them see you cry

Cover up the pain with ruby lips that lie.
Tuck the little pieces of your heart out of view.

Never let them see that side.

Grow a thicker skin, so no one ever gets in
that little secret place, where they only can see an essence of who you are.
Only see a smile on that pretty little face.

Never let them smell your fear.

Close your eyes, dry your tears,
smile as they pass you bye,

Never let them see you cry.
